Out of the total 61 fishermen who were detained by the Seychelles coast guard for crossing the border while fishing, 56 of them reached Chennai airport on a special IAF aircraft. Earlier the Seychelles court held the 5 captains along with their 5 boats to face the legal procedures; and released the remaining 56 fishermen who were part of the crew. Fishermen activists are requesting the government to also get the captains and the boats released without any issues. More details in the below link.
