Thoothoor parish celebrated St. Thomas feast today, 3rd July. 10 parish priests offered the festival holy mass while Fr. Stephen Cosmon being the chief priest. Thoothoor parish priest Fr. Joseph Prasad thanked all parishioners, contributors, priests and sisters for their good work to make the feast successful.
ITPET Education awards have been distributed at the end of the mass. Dr. Albaris, Dr. Amaladhas, Dr. Sajeen, Dr. Florida and Dr. Sudha were given the appreciation awards for their successful completion of the doctorate in philosophy. Fr. Joseph Prasad mentioned that Thoothoor is a unique village to have 5 Ph.D holders. SSLC and HSC topper trophies and cash awards were given to Hermala Raj, Lithia, Dhanya and Sowmia.
The Catechism class anniversary will be celebrated today (3rd July) evening at 6 pm. The parish priest invited all to attend this function and encourage the catechism activities.
