KFDS (Kaniyam Fishermen Development Society) meeting was conducted on 14th July 2010 under the the president Mr. Charlie and was attended by many of the KFDS members. Discussions happened over the current and future activities of the society. It is also decided to elect new secretary and cashier for the society. Mr. Jeen Felix (Sherrin) is selected as the new secretary and Mrs. May Snoy is selected as the new cashier of the society with immediate effect. KFDS will continue to sponsor the education expenses of the 5 students this year also.

KFDS is started in 2007 by a group of people who has got long cherished vision to start a trust for the welfare of the Thoothoor village, and the society has many meaningful visions to lift Thoothoor in all aspect and Raise the Oppressed Socially and Educationally. Dear members of KFDS,

Greetings. Glad to know the untiring efforts of KFDS for the upliftment of the people including education, GK,...

Giving awareness to our students about the government examinations and Preparing them to write at any point of time will be a success. Our youngsters should obtain higher positions in the Government offices.

Steps can please be taken for the personality development programmes - to have a good leadership and communication skill, public speaking, ..so that we can have many Rajans (Antony Raj Gomez) .

I wish the office bearers all the best in all your developmental activities.
